Customer Review: Cuts Ductwork

Does take some tecnique to get long life out of the discs like another poster mentioned. Just wanted to say that these discs work great on cutting ductwork. I saw what metal cutting shears do on ductwork and wanted a more precision cut for mounting my whole house humidifier and accessories.
Tip: I found that if I started the line and continued on the marked trail, the disc wore down realatively fast. My method in the end, for long disc life, was to use a "stitch-like" method for cutting the ductwork. So I'd start into the material until it cut through, the picked up the tool and started a new cut right next to the last cut. Hopefully that makes sense. Good luck.
